Policies and Procedures

I encourage all new clients to familiarize yourself with the policies and procedures below. They are all put into place to better care for your pup!

Payment Policy

Payment is accepted by cash or e-transfer only. Debit and credit cards are not accepted at this time.

If paying by e-transfer, payment may be sent at the time of pick-up.

pick-up Policy

As a one-to-one grooming salon, timely pick-up is essential. Dogs must be picked up within 15 minutes of the appointment end time. A late pick-up fee will apply after this grace period. If you require additional time. Please provide advanced notice and I will do my best to accommodate.

Cancellations and no-shows

Cancellations require a minimum of 24 hours' notice. Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice, or failure to attend a scheduled appointment, will result in a $50 fee.

satisfaction Policy

Any concerns must be communicated within 24 hours of the appointment. Adjustments are offered at my discretion. No refunds are provided once services are completed.

Matting policy

For the comfort and safety of your dog, severely matted coats may require shaving. De-matting can be painful and stressful and will not be preformed if it compromises the dog's well-being. Additional charges may apply for excessive matting. I am not responsible for the condition of the coat if shaving is necessary.

Behaviour and Handling

Dogs must be able to be safely handled. If a dog shows aggressive, highly stressed, or unsafe behaviour, the groom may be stopped or refused at my discretion. No refunds will be issued for grooms stopped due to behaviour.

Health and senior dogs

Owners must disclose any medical conditions, skin issues, injuries or mobility concerns prior to the appointment. Senior dogs and dogs with health concerns are groomed at the owner's risk. I am not responsible for pre-existing conditions or complications that may arise during grooming.

Emergency care

In the event of an emergency, I reserve the right to seek veterinary care at the owners expense. Every effort will be made to contact the owner immediately.
